Signing Agent, a Notary Public who specializes in home loan document signings. By providing this critical service, our clients
enjoy a competitive advantage in providing swift, convenient loan closings to an increasingly consumer driven market.
A highly proficient and skilled staff of 15 Notary Signing Agents provides loan signing service to
lenders, escrow agents, title agencies and national signing services. All signing agents are commissioned Notaries who strive
to provide an uncommon degree of dedication in adhering to The Notary Public Code of Professional Responsibility. Many of
our Notaries Public are certified and fully screened by The National Notary Association in compliance with the Gramm-Leach
Bliley Act. Notaries affiliated with Cavanaugh & Company, LLC are continually acquiring the skills, training and
additional education to excel in this field.
A
full-time closing coordinator is on-staff to assist with scheduling needs, document retrieval, etc. We are able to accept
loan documents via all industry standard formats including email, web access and fax.
Our office
hours are Monday thru Friday 9:00 to 5:30. During those hours our closing coordinator is available to assist clients.
Loan document signings are
offered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We cover all 8 counties in Connecticut: Hartford, Litchfield, Tolland, Middlesex, New London, New Haven, Windham,
and Fairfield.
Our standard fee for
a HELOC or refinance is $80.00. Rural communities, namely those in Litchfield and Windham counties may incur an additional
$25.00 fee on a case by case basis.
Documents can be sent to borrowers, notaries or this office. Email,
fax or web docs are an additional $25.00 which includes a copy set. A same day Rush fee of $50.00 may
be charged in addition to the standard fee.
